Your New Role…
The Media Department is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of advertising budgets and the purchase of media for all domestic theatrical filmed releases. In developing these plans, the department deals directly with advertising agencies and all broadcast media, digital media and digital video, national print, radio, outdoor and Experiential media. The department also works in partnership with international media and home entertainment teams to ensure planning continuity through the entire lifecycle of a film.
Under general direction, manages and develops media strategy and plans for Theatrical advertising campaigns working within the Global Media team. Provides direction and feedback to the advertising agency. Performs other special assignments and related work as needed.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Manages the overall planning, execution and maintenance of media strategy, plans, budgets, and schedules.
• In partnership with paired Director, supervises daily operations of the media team. Oversees Media Manager and Sr. Media Analyst, and their day-to-day responsibilities.
• Gives direction to advertising agency on plan strategy, goals, and updates.
• Manages the development and execution of media sponsorships.
• Coordinates and supervises special film projects, such as media research, budget analysis, and competitive reports.
• Analyzes creative insights and provides management and creative teams with performance recaps.
• Drives media innovation, direct partner management and global partnership opportunities.
• Presents campaign plans and media updates to management and filmmakers, as needed.
• Provides media recaps to WB management and film partners, as needed.
• Discusses, shares and develops ideas and opportunities in collaboration with other departments to build consensus and execute innovative campaigns.
• Backs-up EVP, SVP, and VP as needed.
Qualifications
& Experience…
• Approximately 6+ years experience in media planning across all key channels including digital, television, outdoor and radio
• Strong digital media background is preferred
• Entertainment experience required; motion picture experience preferred
• Experience developing and managing advertising budgets required
• Experience managing an agency team strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills required
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• Strong negotiation skills required
• Ability to think strategically and innovate in established and new mediums
• Must be able to develop, monitor and manage budgets and expenditures
• Must be able to analyze the effectiveness of media advertising
• Must be able to supervise, guide and evaluate support staff in the performance of their tasks
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels including team members, WB management, film partners, and external partners
• Must be able to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to problem solve
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects, stay organized and prioritize deadlines
• Must be able to work flexible hours when necessary
• BA in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field strongly preferred

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
