Department Overview:
Domestic Leisure Sales Support department is responsible for managing the synergistic relationships with Disney Retail Travel Trade partners – all Travel Agencies that sell Disney throughout the United States. The organization comprises of Field Sales, National Accounts Sales, Inside Sales and Business Integration teams that work in collaboration with Travel Industry Marketing, as well as partner with Finance and Operations to assist Travel Agencies maximize their efforts for increased Disney sales as an established seller of the Disney products. Travel Agency and National Accounts Sales support all Domestic Disney products - Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, and Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa.

This position will assist the Manager-Marketing on various tactical and strategic functions, including communication, program planning, project management, fulfillment and activation for Disney EarMarked Program. Other responsibilities include balancing timelines, budgets, maintaining program presentations and spreadsheets. In addition, maintain a comprehensive knowledge of product and inventory for all aspects of the program.

These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for this position:
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas
• Strong business planning, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Power Point and especially strong experience with Excel
• Proven self-starter and ability to balance multiple priorities with minimal direction
• Take initiative to work independently, as well as the ability to work well within a team environment
• Currently a college senior or currently enrolled in a higher level of education
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in Communications, Marketing or Journalism
• Strong collaboration and partnering skills to solve problems through interaction with individuals and teams
• Strong aptitude for analysis coupled with demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
Required Education
• Currently enrolled, or graduated within 6 months, from a college/university earning a degree in Business, Marketing, Travel and Tourism or related major

Internship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months of the start date of the internship for which you are applying for OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must provide full work availability
• Must provide own transportation to/from work
• Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length:
The approximate dates of this internship are January 2019 through June 2019. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
