Photo Asset Manager (Walt Disney Television)
Job Summary:
The Photo Asset Manager partners with marketing and publicity to ensure consistent messaging across formats and media outlets. They also manage photo production workflow and track and maintain asset delivery schedules. The Asset Manager conducts image quality control to ensure highest quality photography.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and work closely with photo production team
• Caption photography, adding loglines and metadata to approved images
• Monitor workflow for librarians and editors
• Maintain asset delivery schedule
• Collaborate with all other internal groups to manage project work
• Work with publicity team and organize assets based on spoilers, exclusives, airdates and deadlines
• Manage and schedule postings to DAP (the Disney ABC Press site) and Snapshot (internal workflow database)
• Handle all acquisitions for animation and theatrical properties
• Maintain Airdate Calendar
• Review approvals with internal business units and production companies
• Image quality control to ensure highest quality photography
Basic Qualifications:
Work Experience:
• Minimum 5 years television, photography or entertainment related experience
• Minimum 2 managerial experience
Skills
& Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• The ability to multi-task under pressure, work weekends
• MS Office Suite applications. Mac proficient.
• Proven interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Communications or related field of study, or equivalent work experience
