Manager - Engagement Marketing (Paid Media)
Job Summary:
The Manager for Engagement Marketing is responsible for developing and executing consumer programs that drive brand affinity and viewership for the Disney Channel. This integral role is the key touchpoint for engagement marketing campaigns from start to finish – including providing input on the initial strategy and marketing concepts development, to seeing these ideas come to life through every detail of the execution.
The Manager is team player and who can lead and manage all cross-functional campaign partners and day-to-day campaign communications. Responsibilities include creatively crafting campaign programs, and then managing those programs through detailed project & timeline management, execution of paid media tactics, coordination of digital & social initiatives, and integrated campaign collaboration across DCWW departments all to support Disney Channels Worldwide franchises and priority TV series.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning
• Develop campaign strategies, plans and goals in collaboration with Director, Engagement Marketing and the Engagement Marketing team.
• Lead and manage all cross-functional campaign partners and day-to-day campaign communications
• Lead and manage the tactical execution of plans across Paid Media, Promotions, Partnerships, Marketing Activations
• Manage Engagement Marketing creative briefs and creative executions, including messaging across campaign elements
• Facilitate social marketing campaigns including creative plans and rollout, in partnership with the Social Media team.
• Manage campaign budgets
PAID MEDIA
• Input on paid media campaign strategy and media brief
• Lead and manage paid media meetings, vendor kick-off calls, work orders, and paid media deliverables
• Lead and manage paid media creative elements across all partners, including paid social
• Lead and manage sharing elements in creative reviews and in decks/one sheets for senior management.
BRAND
• Input into Engagement Marketing strategies across Kids series priorities and Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOMS)
• Input Engagement Marketing insights and best practices to inform overall brand priorities
• Manage Engagement Marketing deliverables in accordance to best practices and brand guidelines
MANAGEMENT
• Manage standing inter-departmental meetings
• Manage alignment on workflow and processes across campaigns
• Manage direct reports and facilitate growth in marketing acumen, soft skills, and project management
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong interest in Disney Channel and kid's entertainment
• Outstanding communication skills, written and oral
• Strong marketing and entertainment media knowledge and be familiar with emerging trends and new technology platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work with others as a collaborative team player
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proven skills utilizing MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to work in a MAC and PC environment.
• Self-starter mindset, able to work autonomously as well as in a team.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 years relevant experience in Entertainment/TV, strong digital background preferred
