Front Desk Scheduler, Creative Services PH (Walt Disney Television)
Job Summary:
The Front Desk Scheduler is responsible for greeting and welcoming all clients and business partners in person, on the phone, and via email while also performing scheduling and other clerical duties for the Walt Disney Television Creative Services department. The Creative Services department provides Post Production and Production services such as craft video editing, color grading, audio mixing, sound design, motion graphics, visual effects, and stage production. It is a fast-paced environment with heavy client interaction. The Front Desk Scheduler plays an integral role as the front facing extension of the Creative Services team.
This position is statused as a project hire and projected to last six months.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors, clients, business partners, and creative partners when they arrive at the front desk and assist them with any Creative Services requests.
• Navigate clients to their respective destinations and or sessions when they visit Creative Services.
• Monitor, respond, and/or route as needed, all departmental communications such as email, slack, phone, or other communication platforms in use.
• Schedule and coordinate client sessions, post production bays, and creative services personnel using scheduling systems and email communication.
• Assist with production related requests and support our production management team with various tasks and needs relating to production on our stage.
• Perform clerical and office duties.
• Perform data entry and work order creation in various scheduling and work order systems.
• Create documentation in common office computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Help maintain Post Production documentation such as: protocols, client lists, distribution lists, and contact sheets.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry at a Network, Studio, Post Facility, or Production Facility.
• Computer literate with experience using Mac OS and Windows systems.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Keynote a plus.
• Experience with fast-paced environments and communicating information efficiently and clearly across teams.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work with executive level management, creative directors, and talent.
• Some experience with scheduling applications such as ScheduAll, Xytech MediaPulse, and Zoom Shift.
• Knowledge of Post Production.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years equivalent experience in production, post production, and or related entertainment work.
