Executive Assistant I, Disney Junior (Walt Disney Television)

We are seeking an Executive Secretary I, Disney Junior to organize and support the SVP, Original Programming & General Manager, Disney Junior and the VP, Educational Resource and Diversity & Inclusion. The role will also provide overall assistance to the department staff in all administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
• High volume of work supporting these two busy senior executives.
• Develop familiarity with all projects in the department.
• Attend staff meetings and document agenda items.
• Interface with employees for information, research, administrative materials, etc.
• Heavy telephone contact with internal and external contacts.
• Process expense reports.
• Handle unsolicited material and inquiries.
• Preparation and typing of documents (presentations, itineraries).
• Hospitality and event coordination.
• Heavy calendar management for executives, and coordination of meetings across diverse departments.
• Distribution of department mail.
• Booking/coordination of travel.
• Coverage on scripts, books, and other creative materials.
• Research artists for projects as needed.
• Building presentations and/or sizzle reels and management of special projects as required.
• Occasional offsite assistance for executives (Preschool research, Mixes, Music Previews, etc)
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting multiple and/or Senior level executives
• Self-starter with the ability to apply critical thinking to the administrative operations to ensure smooth flow of work
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to handle materials with confidentiality and sensitivity
• Top organizational skills in handling large volume of work
• Proven ability to problem solve, prioritize and multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Word/Excel/Outlook/ PowerPoint
• Keynote/ Final Cut Pro
• Enjoys working with pre-school/kids' programming
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 years supporting Senior level and/or multiple executives
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience
