This is a dual role requiring candidate experience in Supply Planning, but with additional emphasis on high Excel capabilities and preferred VBA experience.
Responsibilities:
The Planner role will be with the supply team, performing tasks related to the successful release of a promotion as it relates to the managing of the Supply Planning process for production of Blu-ray, and DVD type products. The candidate will be issuing purchase orders; maintaining quality control of production schedules and track on-time PO completion. (See additional planner responsibilities below.)
The Analyst role requires solid experience with analytical reporting, metrics development, and data analysis including data and technology management (data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management, and reporting). Intermediate to expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic is highly preferred. The candidate will be responsible for developing new metrics, producing reports and scorecards, participating in continuous process improvements, and performing ad hoc analysis for senior management. Additional Planning Responsibilities
• Manages Finished Goods, Dry Good, and Corrugate inventory quantities
• Synchronizes supply plan with actual and forecasted demand requirements
• Monitors production requirements; resolves delays and communicates impact
• Provides weekly reports to supervisor/manager
• Performs Post-Mortem analysis on In-Home promotions with focus on improving efficiencies
• Clears system errors and maintains data integrity
• Reviews existing processes to determine effectiveness in meeting current needs
• Develops positive working relationships with other departments (internal and external)
• Resolves Accounts Payable (A/P) issues related to vendor invoice payments
• Analyzes and recommends disposal of obsolete and excess inventory
• Provides overflow supply team support
• Communicates to all divisions regarding past due work or encountered problems

Additional Analyst Responsibilities
• Heading VBA projects that produce, audit, and verify metrics, and reporting to Senior Management
• Identify potential projects that show opportunities for report automation
• Compiling, analyzing, and identifying metric trends
• Running monthly reports for internal departments and business partners
• Planning and developing new metrics
• Providing business requirements for testing and production to the development group
• Serving as a liaison to other business segments to discuss metrics trends
• Creating ad-hoc and custom reports
Basic Qualifications:
• Advanced Excel skills
• Formulas and Functions
• Charts and interactive dashboards
• Advanced pivot tables
• Data Analysis Tool and Solver functions is a plus
• Knowledge of Excel Visual Basic
• VBA automation of repetitive tasks, message boxes and user forms
• Translate cell formulas in Excel into VBA code
• Launch and interact with other applications such as Access, Outlook and SAP
• Experience implementing user interface improvements based on business needs
• Utilize VBA to combine and produce automated reporting
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Access Database (Tables and Queries)
• Full understanding of Dashboard vs. Score Card concepts
• Proficient with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and the manufacturing process
• SAP/ERP/SQL is a plus
• Applies best in class Supply Chain processes (e.g., allocation rules, inventory management concepts, capacity constraints, etc.)
• Generates reports and performs analysis effectively
Software Applications/Systems and Tools
• Working knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), SAP
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
