Manager, Product Owner/Vendor Management (Studio Productions SaaS)
Job Summary:
The Manager, Product Vendor Management (Studio Production) is responsible for driving product vendor management with one lens towards new studio growth opportunities, innovation, and collaboration across production portfolios, and another lens on the maintenance and support of all production business vendor applications across our technological ecosystem. This role will build a strategic roadmap to provide productions with the most valuable suite of vendor solutions to support shows in their production office needs. As the Manager, you will play a vital role in crafting and executing a strategy based on insights, planning, and vendor partnerships to deliver innovative products, creative experiences, and business results. The ideal candidate should exhibit advanced analytical and leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, and a sense of fun!

Responsibilities:
Business Skills/Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow a team of direct reports including; product owners, sr. business analysts and operations analysts, in support of studio production office business applications.
• Lead development of work plans for projects and oversee strategic planning, research, modeling, and analytics of production technology's business application portfolio.
• Develop, own, and maintain the vision and utilization for various product lines – through cross-team and organizational leadership.
• Own accountability for on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy delivery of our vendor products and projects through careful prioritization.
• Create and maintain a dynamic product roadmap necessary to influence cross-product line investment.
• Develop and deliver recommendations on business growth opportunities, providing comprehensive leadership for the analytical work and incorporating insights and perspectives from senior management and key partners.
• Deliver compelling presentations and actively contribute to meetings with senior leadership by providing input and feedback to enable timely and effective business decisions.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner and develop relationships with key stakeholders in the business units to help them develop strategies to improve and grow their businesses.
• Cultivate meaningful relationships to innovate, gain alignment, deliver against common goals.
• Effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders.
• Oversee identification of potential partnerships with organizations and vendor companies and lead contract negotiations (RFI, RFP).
• Interface with all levels of internal clients and analyze current business processes.
• Work closely with strategic sourcing, content protection, legal and privacy teams to deliver vendor products into the application portfolio.
• Produce written documentation and maintain a document repository.
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Responsible for effectively managing own time according to agreed-to priorities.
• Assists in interviews of resources as needed.
• High exposure to different business leaders.
• Responsive to business needs and highly motivated to improve the skills and capabilities of his/her organization.
Basic Qualifications:
• 7 Years of leading multidisciplinary teams.
• 7 years of Product Management/Vendor Management experience.
• 5 years of business analysis experience in the media industry is a plus!
• 5 years working in an operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to articulate business design using standard UML diagramming techniques.
• Strong partnering skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Proven ability to meet project milestones and customer expectations.
• Proven ability and success working in a global environment.
• Evidence of continuous growth and increasing responsibilities in previous positions.
• Excellent project management skills, resource and timeline management, risk assessment, contingency planning, and ability to work with external vendors, contractors and consultants.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of organization (End Users - Sr. Executive Level) and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical developers and technical vendors and translate business requirements as required.
• Responsive to business needs and highly motivated to improve the skills and capabilities of your organization.
• A sense of ownership and responsibility for delivery.
• Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
• Experience managing teams that are geographically dispersed in a matrix organizational model.
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business is preferred.
