Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
• Internally VFX produce shows with limited VFX needs (under the guidance of VFX Executive)
• Supports senior executives throughout the VFX process and works as a junior independently handling work and meetings
• Identify and hire VFX ''day-players'' on shows as needed
• Locate appropriate VFX vendors and facilities world-wide
• Create comparative analysis of vendor bids
• Manage bidding process with vendors and internal departments (legal and finance)
• Travel to location to meet and trouble shoot with potential vendors and staff
• Read/Breakdown scripts for VFX and/or manage breakdown process
• Submit VFX shot breakdown to vendors for bidding
• Communicate VFX information to internal VFX executives
• Confirm contract deal points and proper exhibits are used in contract drafts.
• Work with VFX executive and VFX Finance executive to maintain up-to-date VFX budget report
• Work with VFX vendors and show VFX producers to track progress of contracted work.
• Track schedules, scripts, budgets, crew lists, etc. for shows and maintain in shared VFX drive and BOX drive.
• Review/prep invoices for approval
• Prepare Purchase Orders
• Ensure timely payment of contract payments and vendor invoices
• Working with VFX accountant, review change orders and prepare for approval process and distribution.
• Maintain internal VFX structural issues (show directory structure and documents, wrap folders, historical data and compilation documents of historical shows).
• Work with show VFX manager/accountants to ensure consistent reporting, forms, etc are used.
• As needed, work with VFX executive and VFX finance executive to prepare project cash flow needs.
• VFX Review/Theater Set Up standards/processes for different review types (RV, TVIPs, etc)
• Department Standardization Management (i.e., Templates, wrap, etc)
• PORT/Reports
• Development
• Maintenance
• Testing
• Sidecar and/or other template updates/enhancements
• Work with Coordinator(s) on manual updates/distribution/management
Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 years VFX Production experience
