VRenetic, a Los Angeles-based immersive media company, is hiring an experienced Marketing Director with drive, solid leadership skills and a proven track record of success.
Founded in 2017 by acclaimed filmmaker Roland Emmerich and media entrepreneur Marco Weber, VRenetic is focused on expanding the accessibility of virtual reality to the mass public.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation and development of the Marketing strategy-including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
- Oversee creation of brochures, whitepapers, spec sheets and press releases.
- Build up and lead marketing and sales teams; meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
- Work closely with the company's design and development teams.
- Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
- Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
- Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization.
- Ensure the strategy is executed and results are reported to the organization. Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, Master's Degree desired, or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales and/or marketing experience and at least 5+ years of managerial experience with a proven track record of success.
- Global experience preferred.
- IT industry background preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong and involved leadership style with a demonstrated ability to interface across business teams. Managerial skills required in planning, directing and evaluating the work of direct and indirect employees.
- Ability to prioritize programs that lead to the greatest growth versus effort without compromising daily production deliverables.
- Strong project and time management skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate within all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of target demographics, statistical probability, and how it relates to sales/marketing plans and their effectiveness.
- Ability to create creative sales/marketing plans that estimate realistic growth that justifies investment and can be measured through sales.
- Must be proficient in Salesforce and know how to integrate with sales/marketing activities that lead to sales growth.
