Security Engineer
Hybrid Schedule (Must be available to come into the Burbank office at least 3 days per week).
This position is located in Burbank, California.

DESCRIPTION
Summary:
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a secure technical environment for our employees and our customers. This includes, but is not limited to network security, identity management, employee education, and policy enforcement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and work closely with technology teams to secure applications and infrastructure.
Develop policies, standard operating procedures, and security reference architectures.
Lead various security certification efforts.
Work closely with the IT teams to harden on-prem and cloud environments.
Monitor and maintain firewalls and remote access infrastructure to ensure a secure perimeter.
Support efforts to build and maintain secure network environments, including identity management, data protection, and endpoint security.
Monitor key security systems and report on metrics such as warnings and alerts.
Manage vulnerability scans and coordinate 3rd party penetration tests.
Educate the various teams on information security standards, policies, and best practices.
Respond to any security incidents that may occur.
Ensure the company's security policies and procedures are in alignment with industry best practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned or related to position.
