We are happy to announce that we are currently searching for a QC Operator in our Video Services Department located in Burbank, California.
**This position is an on site, in office role that will be working Swing shifts and must have direct QC experience with Disney/Netflix content.
Do you think you have what it takes? Candidates up for the challenge must be self-motivated, with superior work ethic and ability to work to strict delivery deadlines, with minimal direct supervision.
Position Overview
Will perform technical QCs of video and audio, including identifying and logging anomalies and other production artifacts created through mastering, dubbing and/or converting processes for a variety of clients such as Disney, Netflix, iTunes.
Responsibilities
· At least 3 plus years of experience working in a post-production environment
· Ability to distinguish to film, digital and analog anomalies
· Must be versed in standard audio configurations and formats
· Ability to diagnose origin of issues found during QC and discuss potential solutions for fixes
· Skilled at setting up tape machines and edit systems for tape based and file based QC
· Knowledgeable in the technical parameters of video and audio tape based and file based specs
· Familiar with all the standard video codecs and associated bitrates
· Must have experience with Master/Broadcast/Film related QCs
· Ability to read and understand network and client specs and QC tapes accordingly
· Must have a basic understanding of VTR setup
· Ability to perform technical QCs, video and audio anomalies created through dubbing/converting process
· Must be able to use and understand scopes (vector scope, audio scopes, waveform, captioning)
· Must have the ability to create a QC report
