Viewpoint Public Relations is looking for a dedicated and eager candidate to be the assistant to a senior publicist. The ideal candidate will have applicable entertainment industry experience, strong written/verbal skills, be extremely organized, able to prioritize/problem solve, able to work in a fast-paced/stressful, environment, and would like to work in entertainment publicity. Keen interest in PR is a must.
Job duties include
Managing a high volume of calls/emails
Coordinating details for client press events
General logistical PR duties
Correspondence with talent, talent reps, studios, networks and streamers
Maintaining all client schedules
Provide day-to-day support for clients and colleagues
Draft and edit press material (memos, client bios, press kits, etc.)
Compile, route, and archive client press coverage from publications (print, online, etc.)
Daily administrative tasks (updating client contact information, press preferences, client lists etc.).
Desired Skills & Experience will include:
1-2 years of experience (job or internship) in Public Relations
Strong core communication skills including media relations, writing, and editing
Organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
