Search for Graphics/ Computer Tech / Camera Op / McGyver jobs in Seattle-WA
We are looking for a well-rounded individual to join a small production team with focus on producing original content. We currently tape, on a monthly basis, an in-house music television show that is broadcast weekly in the local market. Along with this, we've recently shot two television pilots and a feature film which we are currently shopping around. In addition to this, we have a couple studios which we rent along with a rental department full of all the gear. We have various commercial clients that use our production services for their live events as well as provide duplication, editing, recording, restoration to anyone who needs these types of services. We do just about anything related to media production, for ourselves and others.
We are looking for a new team member with the intelligence and skill to jump into various roles:
The person should first and foremost be technically savvy, especially in the field of media. Knowledge of computers, their build, maintenance, software and file types is highly desired.
The role will mostly likely include some editing and/or graphics work. Some subtitling knowledge would also be helpful. (Adobe , Telestream)
Versatility in the production studio would also serve the team well. Knowledge and ability to use a video camera for various productions - with or with out a jib.
Knowledge and experience with DVD and Bluray authoring and related services. Experience with DCP file creation would be a plus.
Knowledge and experience of streaming live video is an asset.
Routing of video, audio and data signals is a must. This includes familiarity with types of cables, connectors, adapters and converters that are and can be used in various production scenarios.
What we really are looking for is a jack-of-all-trades; a production McGyver! We venture off into different directions at times and fill roles with the personnel we have on-hand. A great attitude and willingness to learn is always considered as a substitute for anything you may not have done before of have knowledge of but, you will be expected to clearly communicate your ability to acquire the skills quickly and efficiently. Opportunities for professional growth, experience and knowledge acquisition are boundless at this point. Communication with clients and customers is inevitable and professionalism is of utmost priority.
Don't let anything in this post scare you off. ''Diamonds in the rough'' with only some of the knowledge/skills required will be trained and / or given the opportunity to pick up the necessary skill-sets.
Thanks for your interest, we look forward to hearing form you. Good luck.
