This client-direct, Toy-dedicated Sales Service Executive will be responsible for supporting a list of small, midsize, and large Toy companies to drive, lead and improve advertising revenue across all platforms within ViacomCBS. The Toy-dedicated SSE works across multiple sales channels, including Linear, Digital, Branded Programming, Influence, Social, Experiential, Data, and Multi-platform/Convergent Sales. Candidate will aid our Account Executive, CPD, and VP by hunting for new business as well as maintaining and growing existing business and becoming a toy-industry expert. This role is part of a Kids & Family Center of Excellence team who also acts as internal consultants for the larger sales organization. The SSE will be supported by a Coordinator, who will provide day-to-day account support and maintenance with brand expertise.
Responsibilities:
Key Toy Responsibilities:
• Sole Toy Team SSE, supporting 1x AE and 2x CPDs with heavy account list driving $200M in revenue across the category
• Manage and maintain client-direct Sales through developing media plans and client presentations, tracking investment levels, and conducting quarterly analyses to uncover category trends
• Collaborate internally with Consumer Products, Velocity Marketing, Programming, and Research/Insights teams to maximize key strategic Toy partnerships across the Nickelodeon ecosystem
• Develop and pitch custom Sales and Marketing programs to new business client leads
• Build customized presentations for clients, providing most effective information to drive budgets
Key Strategy/Business Development Responsibilities:
• Key liaison to Digital teams: responsible for relaying K&F Updates and supporting Digital teams with insights & materials
• Pinpoint marketplace challenges in advertising categories non-endemic to younger audiences, and assist in the development of creative solutions to drive incremental dollars to the Kids & Family portfolio
• Research target accounts & build strategy to break new business and increase share
• Point of contact for Sales team in charge of fielding questions related to the nuances of advertising to kids
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years experience in media sales
Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be a strategic individual possessing qualitative/quantitative skills to develop highly directed account plans for their clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including at senior levels.
• Ability to proactively prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
