The Researcher will be responsible for a variety of production responsibilities to support our game and studio coverage. Responsibilities include creating and fact-checking graphics on live game broadcasts and studio shows, as well as sport specific research, mainly on UEFA Champions & Europa League, Serie A and Concacaf. The Researcher will also be involved with curating the top soccer news stories, stats and info on various teams and players both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
• Finding daily news stories for our live games and studio shows across our various soccer properties - mainly Serie A.
• Creating easily digestible research packets for entire production team ahead of matchdays, including being able to answer any questions/clarifications as needed
• Collaborating on high-end graphic and visual ideas for talent and production group
• Remote position with some travel as needed
• Support graphics, storylines and breaking news for Serie A coverage
Qualifications:
• Hands on experience being involved with a variety of sporting events
• High knowledge of soccer, both internationally and domestically (mainly Serie A)
• Must be aware of entire soccer landscape and be accurate in providing information
• Able to work under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a teamwork environment
Education
/Experience:
• Must have 2 years of experience in sports industry
• College degree or equivalent experience
