Reporting to the Vice President, Global Compliance, the ''Manager, Global Compliance: ViacomCBS'' position is responsible for supporting and contributing to a strong culture of ethics and compliance at ViacomCBS. Specifically, this person has responsibility for supporting the company's overall Compliance policies, procedures, tools, 3rd party vendor systems and databases to ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, tracking and issue management. The main areas of compliance coverage are anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, antitrust, anti-money laundering and export controls/sanctions.
Responsibilities
• In collaboration with internal stakeholders (Legal, HR, IT) and 3rd party vendors, oversee the ongoing operations, improvement and effectiveness of the company's technology systems that support the Compliance function. These include (but are not limited to):
• Online-Training Platform
• Ensure the accurate upload of employee data to the system
• Initiate and track e-course campaigns
• Monitor employee completion rates and follow up as necessary to ensure full adoption
• Prepare completion-rate and utilization reports
• • Conflict of Interest Management Tool
• Monitor and review all conflicts of interest reported - to ensure all disclosures are reviewed in a timely manner and supporting details and documents are gathered
• Elevate disclosures for resolution, where appropriate
• • 3rd Party Due Diligence Database
• Monitor, resolve and elevate matches
• Manage data entry and report generation
• Regularly interface with vendor services team to harmonize protocols
• • Whistleblower Hotline
• Monitor, track and elevate hotline reports
• Oversee periodic updates to the platform ensuring submission form categories reflect our current organizational designations
• Prepare completion/utilization reports
• Ensure policies and procedures are current, accessible online and properly disseminated across the workforce
• Facilitate the execution of contracts and invoices/billing
• Develop compliance ''issue tracker'' for key activities related to training, policy development, investigations, 3rd party due diligence and conflict of interest reviews.
• Participate in/manage an ongoing review of current technology solutions and the adoption of new solutions. Suggest and implement changes to ensure improvements in the use of systems for tracking, reporting and trend identification.
• Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of professional experience in ethics and compliance or related function.
Additional Qualifications
• Comfort in pursuing proficiency in multiple, new software applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and project management skills
