6 month fixed-term contract opportunity/possibility of a perm opportunity within our business thereafter.
What you'll do as a Junior Classifier (entry level role):
As a Junior Classifier?you will help (with the support of the Classifications Team) classify series & films for Paramount and Network 10.
Typical functions/expectations:
• Applying appropriate classifications to material programmed on MTV, Nickelodeon & on linear channels
• Understanding the free-to-air code of practice and implementing provisions
• Cognisant of the Australian Classification Act for film and TV
• Entering classification information into different bespoke databases
What are we looking for in a Junior Classifier? What's important???
• Assuming you have no prior experience you're a quick learner & have a positive/can-do attitude
• Team player and ability to work autonomously also
Extra points for the following, but not necessarily required:??
• 1-2 years classification experience
• Media experience
• Arts Degree
