Role:
We are looking for a Coordinator-level Proofreader, Editor and Content Producer who proofreads, edits and writes corporate and creative materials that position and promote ViacomCBS and its brands to all audiences, primarily employees, partners, investors, press and, less frequently, consumers.

Responsibilities:
• Proofread, edit and fact-check all copy generated by ViacomCBS Creative & Strategy at all stages of a project, across all media to ensure editorial excellence and accuracy of content and copy.
• Set and maintain the highest standards of accuracy of all ViacomCBS Creative & Strategy projects.
• Keep editorial resources and guides up to date with the latest style/language/usage and brand information.
• Coordinate and write various internal communications, recommending relevant news items and crafting engaging copy and content, and amplifying major company initiatives to our global employee audience.
• Write copy for print, video, digital and social media.
• Write copy for marketing collateral and initiatives.
• Develop mid- and long-form editorial pieces. Pitches in on brand identity projects where needed.
• Knowledge of ViacomCBS brands and business to ensure that it is accurately represented at all times.
• Present work to internal and external Creative & Strategy approvers and partners.
• Develop content for Creative & Strategy Instagram account and web site.
• Provide strong focus and experience on digital and social platforms and media.
• Adhere to deadlines and budgets.
• Meet regularly with editorial/brand strategy team to discuss process, creativity, strategy, departmental and company priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proofreading and editing skills
• 3-4 years relevant experience
• Education: Undergraduate degree required. English or Advertising major preferred
• Has knowledge of Apple operating system and experience with software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT; Apple Keynote; Outlook; Slack
• Ability to apply, maintain and implement editorial style guidelines
• Submit writing samples or portfolio links
