Overview:
ViacomCBS Branded Programming & Influence (BP&I) Marketing Activation is a market facing team passionate about fueling the sale of influencer marketing and fulfilling revenue generating campaigns. The Activation team's primary focus is to interface directly with the digital ad sales team and their clients in the post-sale phase, functioning as externally-facing project managers and influencer marketing experts, with deep industry knowledge.
The Associate Manager of Activation supports senior team members in executing best-in-class campaigns that are industry-leading in creative quality and performance. The Associate Manager will also be responsible for supporting the Director with generating demand for ViacomCBS Influence with the goal of growing overall BP&I revenue.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in project and people management, creative storytelling, client service, with extensive proficiency in the influence and social landscape. Come join the team!
Responsibilities:
• Support senior team members in the management of boost, unfiltered and premium influencer-marketing activations, specifically responsible for helping to effectively manage communication, trackers, budgets, compliance, timelines, and conflict resolution to ensure client satisfaction and campaign delivery.
• Support CAM lead throughout activation, providing direction to internal teams when tasked that enable them to remain on track with deliverables and aligned with client expectations.
• Support the management of high-investment, high-profile campaigns
• Lead all aspects of overage requests tied to campaign budgets, calculating impact and subsequently identifying solutions that enable the program to meet margin goals.
• Collaborate with Creative team members throughout the scripting process to ensure ideas are brand and talent safe, subsequently attend the shoot, balancing client expectations with talent's expectations on-set, and translating real-time feedback to BP&I production and talent teams.
• Help anticipate roadblocks, challenges and issues, elevating to the CAM lead and working together towards conflict resolution.
• Partner with Marketing Innovation on the execution of new and emerging products attached to influence campaigns, following the process established by the Director.
• Collect Talent's analytics after posts are live and send to Data team for each campaign they are on
• Support the Sr. Manager and Director in the development of materials crafted to generate demand for ViacomCBS Influence solutions, collaborating across Ad Sales, Digital IM, and Velocity teams to build and subsequently socialize opportunities.
• Assist in liaising across functions to develop proactive influencer-led marketing opportunities tied to ViacomCBS IP (tentpoles, programming, priority initiatives) as well as IP-agnostic events that enable marketers to capitalize on key consumer moments. Specifically responsible for working across functions to develop the package and materials including deliverables, talent, creative scope and budget breakdown.
• Co-author case study materials such as one-sheets and general collateral that markets ViacomCBS influence capability, collaborating with internal teams (Media, Research, Talent/Creative) to craft the story, leading to a well-articulated value proposition and opportunity.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2-4 years experience
• Production experience or basic knowledge or production process
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
• Experience in a client-facing role
• Experience working with talent, agents, etc.
• Project management experience; the ability to balance multiple campaigns at the same time
• Strong communicator both written and spoken, with confidence to collaborate and liaise across multiple teams
Additional Qualifications:
• Some proficiency with editing and post-production work is preferable.
