The Integrated Marketing, Digital Strategy team represents the voice of our digital business units (CBS Digital, CBSN, CBS Sports Digital, Paramount , PlutoTV, AwesomenessTV) within the digital ad sales organization. The team is charged with strategic management, market positioning, opportunity development, and the post-sale activation of custom media solutions.
The Associate Manager of Digital Strategy, Entertainment is responsible for developing and advancing sponsorship strategy for CBS Entertainment (Primetime/Late Night/Daytime and Specials) and CBS Media Ventures (Entertainment Tonight, ET Live, Inside Edition, Rachael Ray, The Drew Barrymore Show, and The Doctors), empowering and educating Sales on Entertainment solutions for brands, and innovating and improving our digital offerings in response to evolving client needs. The Digital Strategy team manages the sales process from ideation to execution. Come join our team!
The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in this fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace. This role will support and specialize in pre-sales, helping to manage RFP responses, content ideation, and general presentation materials across multiple brands and dayparts.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling the pre-sale process of sponsorships and custom brand programs, including RFPs, materials for client meetings, and pitches, ensuring all collateral and concepts align with the respective brand and are approved by all appropriate parties.
Supporting the development of custom content and sponsorship opportunities, architecting solutions that excite media buyers, deliver value to our audience, and drive revenue for ViacomCBS.
Supporting the creation of sales marketing collateral, positioning business unit assets (i.e. shows, tent poles, features, etc.), in a positive light, maximizing client relevancy and ViacomCBS competitive distinctness.
Collaborating with many cross-functional groups across VCBS to respond to Sales requests
Contributing to brainstorming sessions and weekly editorial meetings, keeping and distributing notes and records to internal stakeholders.
Representing the business unit as an internal expert and key point of contact for both sales and integrated marketing, answering questions, educating on sponsorship opportunities, and facilitating sales enablement initiatives that drive efficiencies and growth.
Contributing to in-bound RFP requests, priority client programs, and business-wide ad sales growth initiatives by bringing a highly valued business unit expertise.
Supporting team advancement projects (e.g. internal process audits and improvements) that create new efficiencies and improve work quality.
Maintaining a pulse on the media industry, including assisting with competitive marketplace analysis to better understand where clients are spending ad dollars.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years marketing experience
• Strong storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with an understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
• Proficiency in presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote) with an eye for aesthetics
