VOD Operations Coordinator

Reports to: VOD Operations Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
As VOD Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for the delivery of media files to a number of clients both here in the UK and Internationally. You will be the first point of contact with clients for any issues relating to the VOD publishing process carried out by the VOD Operations department on behalf of a selection of VIMN channels played out in UK and Australia. You will also be responsible for the end to end delivery of content, including metadata and imagery to 3rd party clients in line with publishing deadlines. You must have a keen eye for detail whilst keeping a level head and delivering to tight deadlines. We are looking for a creative problem solver with a strong knowledge of Photoshop to help complement our existing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with VIMN Brands to ensure that content required for VOD publishing is available
• Compile and distribute metadata requirements for each Platform to their set deadlines
• Manage the delivery of programme materials to each of the various Platforms in the required format and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain regular communication with external Platforms and VIMN brand teams to ensure they are regularly updated on the status of deliveries and proactively manage any issues
• Review operational workflows where necessary, in collaboration with other VOD co-ordinators, to continually improve efficiency and output
• Be adaptable to work with the team to deliver against new VOD initiatives, whether that is new Platforms, schedules, commercial deals or development.
• Keep up-to-date on evolving VOD Platforms
• Liaise with content suppliers to attain accurate and timely documentation and help resolve any problems in supplying such documents
• Create or compile imagery for each Platform as per their specifications
• Any other tasks associated with VOD Operations that may arise as the Business evolves.
ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
• Prior relevant experience of VOD or content operations Co-ordinator level
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems
• Good knowledge of the evolving VOD environment and an informed view on future developments
• An understanding of Viacom International organisational structure and operational processes is desirable
• Passionate about TV and creating its future of non linear
• Good Microsoft Office skills including in particular experience of Outlook, Excel and Word
• Knowledge of Photoshop essential, knowledge of Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere desirable
• An aptitude for systems and workflow processes
• Keen attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
