Full Time Job
The VP, Marketing Strategy & Project Management works closely with the EVP of International Marketing in the creation, development, and execution of marketing campaigns. This position will work closely with senior executives in the International Marketing department as a thought partner in ideating strategies, as well as in the strategic rollout of all international theatrical releases.
Responsibilities
include:
• Generates go-to-market strategies covering all aspects of the marketing mix, including digital/social media, content, publicity, promotions, and media
• Analyzes trailer launches and sentiment and revises strategies where appropriate
• Creates and presents filmmaker decks
• Generates campaign summaries and recaps to be shared with senior executives and home media
• Produces and manages all materials for trade shows and conventions
• Coordinates with domestic counterparts on an ongoing basis
• Works closely with the various Paramount film divisions (Paramount Animation, Paramount Players, Paramount Motion Picture Group) on specific international projects
• Liaises with territories and regional heads on a daily basis
• Manages and mentors one Marketing Coordinator
• Participates in generating weekly reports of the territories' responses to scripts and finished films
• Provides and submits weekly Creative Ad Reports to Senior Management
• Assists in preparation of budgets and administration of marketing plans
Basic Qualifications
• 10 years’ experience in entertainment marketing, with prior experience in international marketing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and advanced expertise in PowerPoint
• Ideally the ability to communicate in one or more languages other than English
