Sr. Director, Consumer Marketing - Paramount Network / TV Land
Responsible for driving brand and show strategy and execution of marketing plans to support new and returning Paramount Network and TV Land series and events, including unscripted and scripted, driving awareness, tune-in, and engagement for the brand. Responsible for working on the strategy and positioning across key properties, working closely with the agencies, overseeing the development and execution of consumer advertising campaigns. The right candidate is a strategic marketer, knowledgeable media strategist, innovative/creative thinker, self-motivator, clear communicator that relentlessly strives for business results.
Responsibilities
• Support SVP and VP in the development of strategic positioning, determine the target audience, and establishing marketing objectives and strategies for 8-10 major original programming initiatives per year working in conjunction with Programming, Research Development and other areas.
• Develop the media and advertising strategy for off-channel campaigns
• Craft assignments, write media and creative briefs to guide internal teams, as well as, external agency partners, to ensure advertising is on strategy, budget and deadline.
• Manage internal and external digital creative team/agencies - lead pitch process, providing thorough strategy briefings and giving feedback.
• Develop ROI analysis and ensure KPI are met for all marketing programs and drive recommendations.
• Build and execute barter relationships, with relevant brands, networks and properties and identify impactful opportunities to elevate the brands.
• Develop content rollout strategies for new and returning series in partnership with Creative and Social teams.
• Review and approve all advertising elements, including print, outdoor, TV, radio and online executions.
• Campaign budget oversight.
Basic Qualifications
• 7-10 years minimum experience in one or more of the following areas: entertainment, brand marketing, advertising (entertainment focused clients a plus), online marketing, cable/satellite/streaming industry advertising/marketing.
• Digital and social advertising experience, including knowledge of ad online units/formats and creative development/production process.
Additional Qualifications
• Agency experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
