JOB SUMMARY
The International Souring team is adopting a consistent approach to Sourcing across Viacom with:
Strategic Sourcing Suite of Tools, Technology and Templates
Governance and Compliance
Integrated Data
Optimised Team Structure
This position supports this approach and will become responsible for the analysis of supplier spend related to Viacom International Media Networks across the EMEA regions to:
• Create and implement methodology and process including reporting, systems and tools
• Drive adoption of implementation and on-going continuous improvement
• Provide management information and analytics
• Coordinate financial validation
• Provide support to Sourcing and Procurement during tender process
• Be a point of contact for Procurement related queries, including PO and Invoice queries
This role will suit someone with both procurement and finance experience within a large complex organisation. A good understanding of data analytics and spend analysis is key for this role. It will need someone with attention to detail and someone that enjoys working with data, looking for opportunities for savings and having a desire to work closely with the team on collaborating across Sourcing projects.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reports to the Senior Director, UKNEE Market Sourcing Lead, Global Sourcing, based in London HQ.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the consolidation and analysis of the quarterly forecasting process for Sourcing and Procurement EMEA
Create the weekly reporting dashboard (data sourced from SAP / Business Warehouse/ Spend360 / Tableau) explaining main variances, opportunities and risks; creating a true picture of supplier spend for Viacom International Media Networks.
Analyzing changes and trends related to savings, spend, projects and contracts; interpreting and communicating analysis results;
Create the quarterly analysis (Reporting for CFO, Non-Compliance and KPI reports) where accuracy will be key, and accountability for understanding the data.
Support the Annual Operating Plan for Sourcing and Procurement (Consolidate AOP for all the UKNEE and SWEMEA territories and all lines of business).
Providing analytical support to Sourcing & Procurement throughout EMEA region. Producing ad-hoc reports from the analytical tools used by the International Sourcing Team, e.g Vendor Profiles for Spend Category
Provide accurate financial analysis and present insights on spend and costs, highlight trends and forecast/calculate savings across markets and Lines of Business
Identify opportunities for value creation by reviewing spend for non-compliance with purchasing policy
Develop strong relationships with internal (e.g. Finance) local teams in EMEA and external stakeholders.
Assist the procurement team with RFPs, including preparing of documentation, arranging supplier presentations on site, and following up with suppliers on queries during tender process.
Knowledgeable in the purchasing process, assisting internal stakeholders with purchasing requirements, following up with vendors, in relation to orders, PO queries and invoice queries.
Support Viacom’s shared services, i.e., Nickelodeon UK, Comedy Central UK, and Channel 5; with ability to expand to additional divisions.
REQUIREMENTS – KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• CIPS qualification preferred, but not essential.
• Previous experience in procurement operations in a large international organization is an asset.
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of Tableau
• Experience with eSourcing systems
• Extensive knowledge of SAP, procurement analysis and running reports within SAP, e.g., spend and vendor reporting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Demonstrated working knowledge of corporate purchasing procedures
• Experience in assisting on procurement projects and facilitating RFPs
