Full Time Job
This position will be responsible for providing development and support services for large, complex HR & Payroll environment comprising of PeopleSoft, Kronos, Oracle HCM Cloud, and other legacy systems. This position ensures that service levels are met in a dynamic environment that supports a wide range of technologies and several end user departments.
Responsibilities
to include, but not limited to:
• Provides HR/payroll subject matter expertise, knowledge and experience with key business processes, policies, procedures and systems as input to all applications support and development efforts.
• Configures, customizes and implements new PeopleSoft modules/functionality as required.
• Configures and supports Kronos Workforce Time Keeper solution.
• Apply periodic tax updates and other regulatory updates to PeopleSoft and Kronos systems.
• Designing, testing and building inbound and outbound integrations from/to Oracle HCM Cloud suite.
• Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting of PeopleSoft, Kronos and Oracle HCM Cloud issues.
• Provides first hand support to clock interfaces to the hours-to-gross union payroll system.
• Coordinates activities of team with other teams within the IS function.
• Works with Infrastructure, Storage, DBA & other technical specialists to review technical design/architecture proposals and make critical applications design/architecture changes as required.
• Research and test emerging technologies to assist the business with developing strategic plans.
• Serves as point person/liaison with internal and external resources in the completion of major hardware and software upgrades.
• Interacts closely with management and business users across departments.
• Manage multi projects, balance and prioritize work.
• Work under general direction from IT management.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system development involving PeopleSoft, .NET and Kronos technologies
• Experience in entertainment industry payroll environment dealing with union, residual and outside participant payroll processing
Additional Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of the PeopleSoft Technical Architecture
• Proficiency in all PeopleSoft development tools and methodologies, including SQR, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Application Engine, ApplicationPackage, WebServices, Component Interface, PS Query, Crystal Reports, and excellent SQL skills
• Excellent skills in all the technologies used in PeopleSoft environment, including UNIX/Linux, Windows, Oracle DB, (or similar RDBMS) Weblogic (or similar web server), Application Server components and middleware components
• Basic knowledge of the Kronos WFC cloud application and architecture
• Working knowledge on .NET framework, SQL server, SSRS reporting tool
• Deep understanding of Oracle HCM cloud architecture and integration with other payroll and HR systems
• Extensive experience with data integration and data warehousing solutions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be capable of writing proposals or basic project plans, acting as a vendor liaison, and making presentations to customers, client audiences, professional peers and senior management
• Excellent production support troubleshooting skills
• Ability to write technical specifications, program, test, and manage the transition of modifications through the quality assurance and change control process
• Basic understanding of ITIL
• Experience and Strong understanding of IT Project Management
• Knowledge of utilizing analytics to identify and report on various KPIs
• Experience working in service delivery organizations such as a carrier or hosting company
• Experience working with offshore team
• Experience in Media and Entertainment
