Full Time Job
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hard-working Producer, Social Media and Fan Engagement to join the channel and own the social profiles of our exciting tentpoles and high-profile television shows, as well as develop original content and digital video for the brands
and talent. You will control select accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat and other platforms and deeply understand the audiences they attract and cultivate.
Responsibilities
• Managing the social media presence for multiple Paramount Network shows and tentpole events
• Working toward shared goals (including engagement, video views and ratings) around the launches and airings of linear tv shows
• Developing original digital and social content for Paramount Network, TV Land and the various franchises and shows
• Briefing and teaching talent about the world of social media and best practices for their own accounts and profiles
• Constantly iterating and incorporating audience feedback into new content and messaging
• Traveling to set and on-location when needed to create content, execute on social integrations and meet with producers, talent and influencers
• Partnering with Creative, Consumer Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Research, Press and Development at Paramount Network, TV Land, Comedy Central and Viacom at large
• Swinging big and taking risks while learning from every success and misstep
Basic Qualifications
• 6 years of experience in social media and community management, preferably in the
television, film, digital video or entertainment industries
• Expertise in the inner-workings of the established social platforms, emerging networks and digital world
Additional Qualifications
• A producer’s eye, and the ability to create and repurpose content for multiple platforms
• Deep knowledge of audiences and the various types of content that they interact with daily
• Exceptional copywriting and communication skills with a focus on video production
• Experience working with talent, as well as social influencers
• Collaboration in your DNA and an understanding of how social touches every aspect of the business
• Video production and on-set experience, specifically in scripted and unscripted television
• A sense of humor, a creative streak, and an attention to detail that never lets a typo or unoptimized upload slip by
