The Senior Manager/Manager ''title dependent upon experience'' of Social Optimization will partner with the Audience Development and Social Strategy teams in driving Social expertise, helping to develop innovative digital strategies to drive video views and watch time, and leading tactical execution and optimization of content on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. He or she will also be responsible for optimizing, implementing and analyzing paid Social marketing activities.
Responsibilities
• Review library content across social platforms and optimize titles, tagging, organization and annotations
• Conduct SEO and A/B testing across multiple platforms and content types
• Help develop and implement paid social campaigns for Comedy Central’s video content
• Advise on social best-practices across all social and digital video content
• Analyze paid social campaign performance against Comedy Central’s KPI's and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders
• Make recommendations for social and digital programming and content creation to maximize video views and watch time
• Attend classes, workshops and panels to stay up-to-date on social best practices and optimization
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of research, optimization, community management or paid social experience
Additional Qualifications
• Experience in paid social and social best practices
• Knowledge of social research tools
• Familiarity with third-party ad serving technologies
• Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoys collaboration and teamwork
• Like comedy and Comedy Central’s programming
• Ideal candidate is YouTube certified
• Intimately familiar with the social landscape
• Entertainment experience preferred but not required
