Senior Finance Manager, UK Pay (Comedy Central & MTV)
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting into the VP Finance, UK Pay:
• Support CC & MTV management team - providing insightful financial support to drive profit growth
• Support VP Finance for strategic decision making & continued process improvements
• Ownership of all financial forecasts – LRP, Budget and monthly updates
The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of finance, strong communication skills and be able to present and explain financial matters to finance & non-financial stakeholders.
In addition we need the person to be able to build strong relationships, have strong problem solving abilities, and be proactive and reactive – drawing upon solid financial and business experience to drive successful outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
• Provide insightful commercial financial support to drive profit growth and deliver financial and operational targets.
• Lead the LRP, budget and monthly forecast process for Comedy Central & MTV in close cooperation with the management team and UKNEE Cluster finance
• Maintain strong relationships with Cluster commercial ad sales, affiliate and research teams to ensure thorough and up to date understanding of key revenue drivers
• Direct responsibility for the accurate reporting of monthly results, quarterly forecast and annual LRPs/budget
• Ensure accurate JV reporting/ad hoc requests and determination of annual cash distribution for Comedy Central
• Ensure that the appropriate financial procedures and controls are maintained, including continuous review/improvement of working practices
• Involvement in finance transformation project
• Manage service levels with all financial shared services teams to ensure appropriate business support, procedures and controls are maintained
Assist with annual audit requirement and SOX processes
ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Preferred Qualifications
• Qualified Accountant ideally with first time passes
• Proven solid PQE experience
• Degree educated to at least 2:1
• Good A-levels
