Sales Service Executive (Toy Vertical) - Viacom Ad Solutions
Join our incredible Viacom Ad Solutions team. We are a leading innovative advertising organization that delivers the advertising revenue across all Viacom media brands using cutting-edge research, data, partner marketing, and sales strategy approaches. We work creatively across all media platforms – TV, digital, social, experiential/ live events, emerging platforms; and all audiences – from young kids with the Nickelodeon brands, to Millennials with brands like MTV and Comedy Central; as well fans of TV Land.
As the SSE on the Retail/Toy Vertical, you will aid our Directors energetically hunting for business as well as maintaining and growing existing business. Your core responsibilities will include client and agency interface, and support of the sale of multi-platform advertising. You will be responsible for liaising with Integrated Marketing, Consumer Products and have experience in creating compelling presentations.
• You will create customized presentations for clients, providing most effective information to drive budgets
• Research target accounts & create strategy to break new business and increase share
• Lead and implement marketing executions across the suite; Music or Kids & Family or Entertainment
• Dual report into both West Coast and East Coast directors managing all day to day requests for the toy team
• Manage client relationships, business development, and base sales teams to grow overall media spends grounded in paid media, marketing and on ground events including talent
• Proactively drive new business in the toy industry by promoting our new AMS products
• Manage internal relationships across Project Management, Integrated Marketing, Nickelodeon Creative, Consumer Products and Licensing, AMS, and digital teams for all client meeting prep and campaigns
• Lead and create agenda and meeting invites for monthly cross functional teams
• Oversee the hiring and training of all Viacom interns within the toy and retail vertical teams
• Manage team’s coordinator day-to-day responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
• You have at least 2 years’ experience in media sales or consumer products
• You have a Bachelor's degree
• Excellent communication skills
Additional Qualifications
• Highly skilled in PowerPoint development (able to build slides and story line)
• Fluent in Excel and data manipulation
• Strong organization skill and detail oriented
• On-air and online media planning acumen
• Media Math proficiency
• Interest in sales and branding
• You have excellent social skills to interact with internal and external clients
