Job Title: Production Assistant
Department: 5Creative
Location: Hawley Crescent, Camden
Reporting To: Head of Production & Operations
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
We are looking for a highly organised and detail orientated Production Assistant to provide office production support for 5Creative’s Production Department. You will work closely with our Promo, Design, Continuity and Commercials teams, handling all production administration. You will be a key point of liaison between Production, HR, Viacom Accounts team and external suppliers. It is a fantastic opportunity to be a key member of the team for a leading International Broadcaster. We work closely with other Viacom Production departments (Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, Paramount) as well as C5’s multiple channels.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Finance:
• Supporting the Viacom financial system (SAP) and acting as point of contact for Finance, suppliers and production staff to ensure we are meeting payment cut-off dates
• Raising and processing PO’s, setting up vendors and dealing with payment queries
• Reconciling company and shoot expenses for key members of staff
• Feeding information back into production budgets
• Freelance process: Completing monthly Freelance Tracker with all freelancer/crew details
• Supporting Production with contracts for relevant freelancers; liaising with HR
Production:
• Booking daily voiceovers according to edit schedule
• Assisting with GFX deliveries and bookings schedule
• Assisting with material sourcing and trafficking
• Ensuring material is sent and received from our Viacom channels as efficiently as possible
• Assisting Production with shoot pre-production and post-production tasks where needed
• Ensuring all freelancers are set up with email accounts and access to the building
• Helping production teams with transport booking and general office administration
• Helping with music returns / allocations
• Providing general office support, booking meeting rooms, and assisting in day to day administration
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
• Practical experience in a TV Production environment would be helpful
• Experience implementing administration for teams and working with Excel, Word, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Working diplomatically with a range of people and personalities
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
• The position is office-based but pre-production and shoot experience is an advantage

• Proactive and possess a meticulous attention to detail
• Highly numerate with ability to monitor financial records closely with a keen and exacting eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills with demonstrable experience of effective working within teams
• High standard of computer literacy, particularly Advanced Excel skills
• Self-motivating enthusiastic individual
• Positive can-do attitude
• Ability to apply structure and logic within a fast-moving production environment
• Multitasking is essential with the desire to be a key member of a fast paced team
