Full Time Job
The Manager, Creative Advertising is responsible for driving strategy and developing creative print and audio/visual materials for Paramount's theatrical marketing campaigns. This position will report into the VP, Creative Advertising.
• Act as a liaison with advertising agencies, feature production casts and crews, and the marketing and production departments within the Motion Picture Group
• Handle the compiling and communication of advertising deadline schedules, schedules material deliveries, tracks feature production schedules, and assists with the production of special video and photography shoots
• Attend weekly update meetings and interact daily with vendors and internal teams. Manage creative deadlines and actively participate in deadline meetings, and provide instructions & direction on creative materials to vendors
• Act as finishing liaison including daily communication with AV finishers and print post production on status of materials and final approvals
• Manage narration for AV campaigns, AV graphics creation & legal approval
• Manage all print advertising (one sheets, outdoor campaigns, magazines, newspapers, in theatre displays, etc.)
• Work with publicists to get key art approved by talent
• Facilitate delivery of materials & assets to online, interactive media, publicity, in theatre, etc so that their layouts are in line with our campaign. Make adjustments & approvals.
• Create secure files for filmmaker viewing/approvals
• Ensure sure all materials are squared away regarding MPAA, networks, legal/clearance issues
• Create & provide Quote Culls to all departments based on selected & approved quotes from reviews
• Act as Photo Shoot Coordinator by managing marketing photo shoot assets for other departments' needs
Basic Qualifications
• 5 years of marketing and/or advertising experience where the individual contributed to the management and execution of creative advertising campaigns
• Demonstrated knowledge of motion picture marketing including a familiarity with the technical terminology of print and audio/visual advertising
• Bachelor's degree strongly desired OR equivalent experience
