Full Time Job
This position is responsible for a ssisting and relieving the SVP and other legal personnel of administrative and clerical work.
* Assist in the preparation of all work products, including providing clerical assistance to others in the department on an as needed basis
* Compose and generate letters and memos
* Back-up proof reading and editing on documents prepared by attorneys
* Internal and external distribution of Agreements and correspondence
* Answer phones, schedule appointments/confirm meetings/maintain daily schedules, photocopy material, facsimile/e-mail distribution and route incoming and outgoing mail that may include large distribution lists
* Maintain tickler system for follow-up
* Entry of status of projects in various status report databases
* Generate reports filed with various labor unions
* Generate Expense Reports
* Liaise with internal departments and external entities as needed
* Files correspondence and legal documents in office filing system
* Ensures proper indexing and filing of original legal documents
* Maintain and update legal indexes
Basic Qualifications
* Minimum 3-5 years entertainment and/or legal experience
* Must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet software
Additional Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management
* Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple high priorities and have the ability to appropriately prioritize work and proactively anticipate and manage time in a team environment
