Full Time Job
This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the motion picture and television legal and business affairs departments by maintaining the legal file system, processing the daily work flow of legal materials, and providing copying/bulk-scanning services, clerical, administrative and light research support to the departments.
Responsibilities
may include, but will not be limited to:
• Processing daily work flow within legal department: sorting, scanning, and filing legal materials into both digital and physical file systems
• Managing department copy and scanning machines
• Providing copy/bulk-scan assistance to staff and external personnel
• Maintaining department supplies
• Distributing inter-office mail, copies, faxes, and third-party courier deliveries
• Communicating extensively at all levels and divisions throughout the studio
• Creating file records via data entry (Word, Excel, interface with legal systems)
• Assisting with legal systems, and metadata cleanup
• Assembling, maintaining physical files; labeling printing/coding tabs
• Assisting with space management and organizational projects, as needed
• Performing light file research, and other special projects, as assigned
• Liaising with and supporting various members of legal and business affairs teams
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two years clerical experience in entertainment industry
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, legal systems, internet research, managing telephones, using copy/scan machines
Additional Qualifications
• Proficiency in legal systems
• Self-starter who can work both independently and within a team
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Positive attitude with excellent communication and organization skills
