Job Summary
Responsible for the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of end-to-end payroll services to
designated international locations. Engages and interacts with key in-country contacts and local
providers on legislative, processing, and compliance matters.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of payroll for designated Viacom entities outside of the
United States
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local country HR, Finance, and ADP partners
Perform monthly review of local payroll output for designated entities in accordance with defined
SOX procedures
• Support local country personnel on payroll processing and compliance issues
• Ensure timely payroll-related reporting to the business
• Build and maintain country-specific process documentation
• Assist with standardization of internal reports, documents, and processes where possible
• Assist with local ADP implementations as necessary
• Ensure key business partners are kept informed of payroll-related changes as necessary
• Proactively seek to fully understand relevant payroll legislation that impacts local payrolls
• Understand and troubleshoot unique attributes of designated local payrolls
• Special projects as assigned
Requirements - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Experience with end-to-end processing of multi-country payrolls required
• Demonstrated record of success in managing and delivering high quality payroll services for Global
organizations
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience with ADP International Payroll, or similar in-depth experience with another major International
payroll vendor desired
• An understanding of international payroll requirements and the differences between countries and
regions desired
• Strong understanding of integration between systems and the ability to interact with IT personnel on
systems issues and requirements
• Strong payroll accounting skills required
• Multi-lingual capabilities is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills
• Self motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Proactive with excellent follow-up skills
• Ability to thrive in a diverse environment
• Adaptable and able to prioritise workload
• Ability to adhere to strict timelines
Key Competencies
• Global Payroll, HR and payroll accounting experience
• Proven experience with multi-country payroll processing
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to interact with remote work force with varying degrees of payroll experience
