The International Licensing team is looking for a self-motivated, trustworthy and hardworking candidate that has a passion working in the licensing and partnership world. You are meticulous in detail, and as you have a passion for sales and relationship management, you love building existing relationships and creating new ones whilst working for one of the biggest media owners in the world. You have a passion for sales and are driven by identifying and closing opportunities.
What you'll be doing;
• Manage and support the Director of International Licensing Partnerships across an exciting mix of existing key international licensees and partners.
• You will identify potential growth opportunities across all managed licensees and pre sent your thoughts and ideas to discuss with your manager.
• Through diligent research and business acumen, you will support the Director of International Licensing by identifying new business opportunities in the market place by prospecting, cold calling and building excellent relationships with potential
• This role will also need you to seek out new and ‘non-traditional’ licensing opportunities across specific but not limited to the following sectors; finance, travel, automotive, health and well-being, and clip licensing.
• You will work with local market consumer product teams to seek, approve and conflict check international deals as well as work with them to identify white space to open new opportunities across multiple markets.
• Y ou will be need to work cross functionally with the other consumer product teams; Franchise management, Product Development, Retail Marketing and Promotions, Insight, Finance and Business and Legal Affairs
• You will manage licensee and partner updates on brand and franchise developments, selling in our portfolio pipeline in order to maintain excitement with existing and new partners, as well as create new opportunities.
• You will support the Director of International Licensing across new business pitches including the managing of pitch presentations, collation of retail sales data and insights, briefing of visual concepts and case studies/best practice examples.
• You will work with licensees to ensure they are reporting royalties and submitting quarterly forecast
• You will manage the contract process from point of submitting onto systems through to contract draft stage.
• You will keep up to date with developments across the licensing , media, and advertising landscape and you will shar e your new findings and ideas with your team to drive new ideas and business opportunities.
You will have;
• Experience in business development and account handing
• A passion for sales and new business with an eye for spotting a sales opportunity
• Ability to handle a busy workload in a calm and professional manner being proactive/solution oriented
• Excellent Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of different personalities, not afraid to challenge for follow up information , both written and verbal
• Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks accordingly
• Excellent t ime management and good organi s ational skills
• The ability to be able to build relationships both internally and externally
• Ability to multi-task and track workflow progress, moving through a pipeline of leads, conversations and conversions
• Excellent presentation skills
• Willingness to learn and a good team attitude
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (particularly E xcel and PowerPoint) also , Apple software skill
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
• Good organisational and follow-up skills
