WHAT’S THE GIG?
Graphic Design Intern
WHICH MEANS…
A supporting role within the UK Creative department, the Graphic Design Intern works closely with Graphic Designers, Promo Producers and Creative Team, offering support throughout all stages of graphics production. This is a very varied role that will expose you to a working Creative department where idea generation, creative research, knowledge of broadcast graphics and branding are essential.
The MTV UK Creative team works across promos, branding, multi-platform campaigns and events – this role is an opportunity to gain experience in many facets of creative production.
YOU’LL NEED TO OWN…
CREATIVE & DESIGN
• Coming up with ideas for MTV
• Assisting with creating and delivering graphics assets to broadcast standard
• Assisting graphics designers with concept research and creation of mood boards and visual treatments
• Assisting with reversions of old graphcis projects where suitable
• Creation of end boards, on screen gfx and assets for social media where suitable
PRODUCTION
• QC content
• Assist with versioning of promos
• Assist with delivery of transmission material
• Assist with maintaining the graphics team server and team Vimeo site
MUST HAVE THESE NINJA SKILLS…
• Loves MTV and what we do
• A strong interest in design and creative
• Good team player and all rounder
• Knowledge of Adobe Premier, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects are not essential, but desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to use own initiative, be highly motivated and work under pressure
• Confident communication skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with strong academic track record.
- Experience with all Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Hands-on user for Microsoft Internet Explorer and related web-based technologies.
- Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision or formal structure.
- Previous experience with client relations and experience in HR systems and/or software project management are significant plus.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Account Services Department, the Manager will work closely with the iCIMS customers to ensure all their needs and expectations are met.
- The Manager should have a strong knowledge of ASP systems and the ability to quickly learn and master the iRecruiter system to effectively communicate to customers the best and most efficient methods of utilizing iCIMS products.
- The Manager should possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple accounts.
- The Manager is expected to be able to identify a customer's needs and when new opportunities exist to add additional products and services.
- Participation in sales presentations through conference calls and seminars, on-site customer meetings, and client surveys.
- Work with the iCIMS Marketing team to develop client references, case studies, and testimonials.
- Proactively contact assigned clients and work towards 100% renewal rate.
- Work escalated customer issues.
- Some travel required.
