This Intern position sits within the London division of Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (part of Viacom International Media networks). We are responsible for the management and development of brands through the creation of consumer products for a variety of kids and adult brands including: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob Square Pants, PAW Patrol, Shimmer & Shine and MTV...there's something for everyone!
The team in London provide support internationally, (Asia, EMEA, America’s) as well as regionally and locally across Business and Legal, Finance, Sales, Brand/Franchise Management (strategy, planning) including Creative (product development, marketing, retail and promotional materials).
As the Franchise Management intern you will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of the Franchise Management Department which will comprise a variety of tasks and responsibilities including: creative asset distribution, small design briefs/tasks, marketing research, assisting with the creation of presentations, setting up meetings, daily management and other day-to-day admin which will require you to have a good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and desired skills in Adobe creative suite. This is a dual role, working across our marketing and creative departments. With your design skills you will be able to support the creative team on design led projects.

Key Responsibilities Include;
Franchise Management – Creative Team Support:
To provide support to the designers on a day to day basis including the Franchise Management and Creative Team.
• Creative Assets - distribution including: loading files to the ftp site, FedEx/posting.
• Responding to artwork, logo, information email requests for promotions & marketing submissions.
• Organise central artwork library and keep updated.
• Control and provide access to artwork on Nick Central for new promotional & marketing partners.
• Ideally support in-house creative retail and marketing team to package up and distribute final artwork files for print.
• Updating the In-house document on a regular basis and circulate via NickCentral
• Undertake design briefs and working from existing artwork to amend files using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and deliver print ready files for Business to Business communication and Consumer to Consumer communication.
• Involved in team brainstorms on new creative approaches.
Franchise Management – Franchise Team Support:
To provide administrative support to the Franchise Director and Franchise Manager of EMEA region.
• Marketing materials – Regularly collate local ratings & scheduling information for each of our properties on for quarterly materials updates. Manage material allocation and shipment across all International markets.
• Premiums - Manage European stock and shipment to local territory. Event management - Assist in the organisation of BLE tradeshow (European Licensing Show) for 100 internal staff
• International Franchise strategy campaigns – Assist in the creation of toolkits for the EMEA region. Duties will include brainstorming, researching ideas & creating PowerPoint presentations.
• Liaise with international brand coordinators on a regular basis
Administrative Support:
• Create folders to archive huge attachments and distribute files onto the ftp site.
• Diary management, create meetings and conference call meetings.
• Liaise with the Legal, Finance and Product Development team.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and Excel documents.
• Regularly communicate to the wider Consumer Products team/territory managers via email updates and email blasts.
• Working closely with both new and existing partners and building relationships.
This is a dynamic and fast paced environment, to be succesful you will need to be organised, proactive and have effective and confident communication skills and be able to work within a team as well as independently
