JOB SUMMARY

Viacom has an exciting opportunity for a Creative & Digital Intern to join the International Social Responsibility team. As Creative & Digital Intern you will play a key role in delivering multi-platform international digital campaigns, as well as getting involved with key events and projects.
We’re looking for someone who is bursting with creativity. You will ideally have some practical experience, as well as excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the know-how to create compelling content for our audiences.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
You will report into the Creative Producer of the Social Responsibility department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support for MTV pro-social content & MTV Staying Alive Foundation:
• Pitching creative ideas for content and digital formats
• Provide daily support for tasks such as researching images, and managing image and video content files
• Contribute in meetings where required
• Develop visual content and generate ideas
• Artworking of graphic elements to support wider editorial and social media campaigns
• Create fun GIFS and animations around weird and wonderful news stories
• Editing and post producing departmental video content
• Researching and producing editorial content
• Sourcing contributors from around the world for our different media platforms and acting as the point of contact
• Assisting on live events
• Occasional coordinating of shoots and film crews
• Designing presentations
General Social Responsibility team assistance:
• Provide ad-hoc and support to the Social Responsibility team
• Support the Team Assistant with supplier management
ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS – Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects
• Animation, motion graphics and 3D skills are preferred but not essential
• Interest in Social Responsibility and social issues affecting young people
• A passion for youth culture, attuned to trends, fashion, style and music
• Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational and literacy skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A strong team player with a good sense of humour
• Effective and confident communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
• Comfortable dealing with sensitive issues
• A desire to learn
• Able to work from own initiative
