Full Time Job
The Content Producer/Production Artist will be responsible for preparing various print and web ready assets in partnership with a highly collaborative and skilled team of Production Artists/Content Producers. A successful candidate will have advanced/expert knowledge of the Adobe Suite ( InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), he/she must be highly organized, focused, adoptable, a self-starter, resourceful and able to remain calm under pressure and rapidly shifting priorities.
• Prepare ads, flyers, posters, direct mail and brochures utilizing assets provided by our design team that are technically tight and problem-free
• Preflight all print mechanicals by carefully reviewing specs and printer guidelines
• Prepare various digitals assets (gifs, emails, interactive pdfs and more) by following web standards and specs provided by vendors, web developers and motion graphic designers
• Retouch images from photoshoots and other sources utilizing advanced Photoshop retouching techniques
• Create complex composites for various marketing materials (ads, presentations, website assets and more)
• Design Keynote and Powerpoint based presentations utilizing assets provided by our design team
• Set up and maintain template files that can be adapted to many uses and streamline the production process
• Review and Import all final production assets into our Digital Asset Management system
• Assist and partner with the Director of Production Ops on various projects ranging from digital asset management to project planning and interdepartmental workflows and processes, as well as attending project meetings as needed
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
• Minimum of 5 years of agency, fashion or corporate creative production experience and a solid portfolio of well-produced work
• Advanced/Expert knowledge of prepress, printing standards and industry standard software (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office, PC and MAC OS)
Additional Qualifications
• Intermediate understanding of ESP services such as Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor
• Solid understanding of UX/UI and graphic design methodologies and techniques
• Intermediate understanding of Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Wordpress
• Love for the technical side of design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate knowledge of After Effects and Premiere
• Exposure to project management platforms (Basecamp, Workfront)
