UK Cluster Compliance Manager
JOB SUMMARY
This role will report to the UK Cluster Sr. Compliance Manager and will work with the Business Process & Controls group and UK Cluster Management to develop and execute Viacom Compliance initiatives within the UK cluster. Viacom Compliance initiatives will be a combination of Viacom priorities as well as UK cluster priorities, as agreed by management.
The UK Cluster Compliance Manager is an integral part of the UK cluster and Viacom Compliance organizations. This role is a primary contact both finance and the business regarding all queries within the cluster as they relate to compliance, DOA, SOX, policies/procedures and non-negotiables. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our internal controls are operating effectively, and that risks are identified and remediated timely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute annual plan of Viacom Compliance initiatives (i.e., process and controls design and improvement, DOA updates & training, operational reviews, etc.) throughout the UK cluster
• Ensuring all operational and SOX controls are communicated effectively and understood by the business; provide training as necessary
• Execute annual “non-negotiables” testing plan for UK
• Develop/design plans to improve controls/operating efficiency and effectiveness; Collaborate with other clusters to identify and implement best practices worldwide
• Assist in identifying issues/concerns related to controls and/or operating environment
• Monitor cluster Internal Audit issue resolution, performing independent testing to determine if issues have been adequately remediated and can be reported as closed to Internal Audit
• Lead remediation efforts on cluster SOX control deficiencies
• Assist on Compliance reviews for all major UK cluster initiatives (i.e., system implementations, reorganizations, process changes, etc.)
• Serve as key contact on all Compliance-related questions for UK cluster, supporting the UK Cluster CFO/UK Cluster Controller
• DOA maintenance/review with cluster management. Develop and deliver annual DOA training; Serve as cluster point-of-contact for DOA questions
• Assist in coordinating UK cluster walkthroughs and documentation for Operational reviews
• Assist in UK cluster in process design and improvement
• Manage all UK cluster controls efforts in terms of proper documentation, testing and remediation reporting to NYHQ
• Work with local management to update and maintain local Policies and Procedures, financial process narratives and internal controls key documentation
• Serve as liaison for local IT on internal controls framework within IT environment
• Assist on ad hoc projects/reviews with key stakeholders for example:
• Establishing / documenting and updating local Policies and Procedures and aligning with Viacom policies and procedures
• Perform on-site compliance reviews for UK regions
• Coordinate walkthroughs and documentation of local/cluster processes

Job Experience and Qualification:
• Compliance experience or equivalent
• Big 4 Firm/large CPA Firm and private industry experience (preferred)
• Strong report writing skills
• ACA or CPA or equivalent (preferred)
• Media experience (e.g. - Disney, Time Warner) (preferred)
