JOB TITLE: Air Time Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY:
The Air Time Supervisor actively supports Ad Sales. Key responsibilities include co-ordinating the Velocity International airtime requirements directly with the regional ATP teams, and centrally managing the trafficking process of materials. A key element of the role will be to support the Commercial Operations Manager in managing all Commercial airtime for Velocity International sales, UK & Ireland carriage deal commitments & UK commercial initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Booking / Planning
• Work with sales and the regions to ensure the advertising campaigns are booked and delivered in accordance with the clients requirements
• Ensure revenue is entered correctly by all the channels as laid down in the media plan, reconciling onair and sponsorship revenues with the delivery reports.
• Forecast UK & Ireland inventory carve out to Sky liaising with the various stakeholders within Viacom
• Manage the monthly inventory carve out to Sky, analysing data to ensure we are optimising our inventory
• Manage the year-to-date UK & Ireland inventory position
• Set up orders/customers/agencies accurately in booking systems subject to credit check approval
Copy Administration
• Chase and receive all commercial copy from media agency / client
• Ensure copy for the UK market is approved by Clearcast
• Ensure copy for the UK market is ready for TX from playout
• Ensure copies for all other markets are cleared with the relevant legal department
• Ensure copy complies with TX technical requirements and is received within the TX deadlines
• Deliver copy to the markets via their relevant delivery route
Co-ordination
• Liaise with regional ATP teams to notify them of Velocity airtime
• Be aware of inventory availability situation across feeds
• Pre/ Post telecast reports compilation
• Ensuring full transmission of schedules in accordance with plans & pre-tels, in conjunction with the relevant Velocity sales team and the local booking and monitoring teams
• Inform Velocity Sales of all regional campaign and copy deadlines
• Serve as primary point of escalation process
ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
• Experience of television ad sales business
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy (esp. numeric)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and preferred experience on industry specific sales systems
• Time Management and workload planning

• Conscientious with respect to meeting deadlines
