Position Summary
Vertical Entertainment, a full-service film distribution company located in Santa Monica, CA, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing team. The Assistant will play a key role by supporting executives with day-to-day admin duties, in addition to assisting Marketing with asset management and film campaigns. Primary responsibilities include supporting the team with scheduling, travel, answering phones, managing agendas, office supplies and day-to-day tasks; marketing responsibilities include assisting with campaign development, tracking incoming and outgoing deliverables and routing materials for approvals. We're looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, boutique office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Support key executives and team with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Schedule internal and external meetings, manage complex calendars, coordinate travel and answer phones
• Maintain and distribute company release schedule & meeting documents
• Track and manage office supplies
• Support Marketing in the development of key art, trailers, promotions and strategies
• Track and manage incoming and outgoing creative assets
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the company
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years of experience in the entertainment industry (marketing, studio or agency experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an understanding of Photoshop
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests from the team
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a startup-like environment
