Search for Technical Manager for Drone Shows jobs in Zurich-ZH
As Verity Studios' drones come to stages worldwide and production volumes rise, we are seeking to complement our team with an experienced technical manager, who will assist customers in bringing drone show systems to their venues. The successful candidate will interface with customers and will be responsible for the technical planning and execution of drone show productions. This position will require frequent travel to customers' sites.
Responsibilities
• Be the interface with customers for all technical aspects of drone shows, from conception and planning to installation and day-to-day operation.
• Configure and test drone show systems in house prior to new releases
• Support and train drone show system operators and installation crews, on site and remotely.
• Contribute to the improvement of the system by providing issue reports and feature wishlists to the development team, based on customer interactions and on-site observations
• Contribute to and review user support documentation such as user manuals and operational guidelines
• Create safety assessments; determine relevant legislation and obtain relevant certifications/permits.
Qualifications
• Good technical understanding
• Experience in the live events industry and in the installation and operation of stage equipment
• Ability to prioritize and manage work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of CAD software is a plus
• Very good written and spoken English
• A structured, detail-oriented, and proactive work style
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
