Verity Studios delivers ground-breaking drone show systems that are purpose-built for the live entertainment and events indus-try. Its show drones have been featured in a variety of live events, including PARAMOUR, the Broadway show by Cirque du Soleil, Metallica's current arena tour, and at every New York Knicks pre-game show at Madison Square Garden. The unique performance capabilities of show drones provide a stunning complement to the traditional palette of light, sound, stage effects, and human performance. We are excited about using technology to transform live entertainment and other industries, and we are growing our team.
As Verity Studios' drones come to stages worldwide and production volumes rise, we are seeking to complement our team with an experienced technical manager, who will assist customers in bringing drone show systems to their venues. The successful candidate will interface with customers and will be responsible for the technical planning and execution of drone show produc-tions. This position will require frequent travel to customers' sites.
YOUR TASKS
• Interface with customers for all technical aspects of drone shows, from conception and planning to installation and day-to-day operation
• Plan, install, verify, operate, and maintain the drone show systems
• Support and train drone show system operators and installa-tion crews, on site and remotely
• Configure and test drone show systems in house prior to new releases
• Provide issue reports and feature wishlists to the develop-ment team, based on customer interactions and on-site ob-servations
• Contribute to and review user support documentation such as user manuals, operational guidelines
• Create safety assessments; determine relevant legislation and obtain relevant certifications/permits
PREREQUISITES
• Experience in the live events industry is a must
• Experience in the installation and operation of stage equipment
• Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive work style
• Very good written and spoken English
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
