Verity Studios delivers ground-breaking drone show systems that are purpose-built for the live entertainment and events industry. Its show drones have been featured in a variety of live events, including PARAMOUR, the Broadway show by Cirque du Soleil, Metallica's current arena tour, and at every New York Knicks pre-game show at Madison Square Garden. The unique performance capabilities of show drones provide a stunning complement to the traditional palette of light, sound, stage effects, and human performance. We are excited about using technology to transform live entertainment and other industries, and we are growing our team.
YOUR TASKS
• Work with creatives to bring drone show segments to life
• Program motion and light choreographies for our shows, in the office and at the show locations
• Design, develop, and test new drone motion elements and lighting effects
• Contribute to the development of our drone choreography design tools
PREREQUISITES
• Solid C++ programming ability
• Initiative, independence, and creative thinking is a must
• Understanding of the basic math behind the representation of shapes in 3D space
• Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive work style
• Knowledge of 3D animation and visualization software or experience in show programming (lighting, automation, etc.) are a plus
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Good English skills, written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
