We are looking for a smart, flexible, detail-oriented, hard-working and creative thinking coordinator to help run our office. The ideal candidate has experience in a similar position and/or has worked for a major entertainment/media executive. As the primary point of contact, you'll serve as a liaison between business partners and talent and provide support to both. In this role you will work across business functions including production, procurement, development, vendor management and certification. You will work on a wide range of strategic initiatives supporting our team and our ongoing operations and will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with department projects.
This is an amazing opportunity for a highly-organized candidate who is interested in the business side of the entertainment industry and will include exposure to operations, company strategy and growth drivers, as well as company and project-level financing and investing.
Responsibilities:
Manage and update calendars, schedules, and call sheets
Performs clerical duties such as filing, scanning, research, coordinating calls, filling in and submitting paperwork, receiving and sending mail
Compose confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents
Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files (both physical and electronic), including detailed inventory lists and contact sheets
Deal support for project-level investing across film, non-fiction and television projects
Project-specific research for business development
Establish credibility, foster collaboration and develop strong, respectful relationships with partners and stakeholders
Assist in developing strategies across a wide range of business areas including aspects of team business operations, branding, marketing, commercialization, merchandise and live events
Evaluate current operational performance and formulate improvements in areas related to project planning, project reporting, and procedural operations on projects
Research and assist with structured analysis to achieve insights on large-scale and transformative business initiatives
Support team members with devising business and initiative proposals and help them to prepare to communicate recommendations through presentations to stakeholders
Requirements:
Experience working effectively as part of a small team
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of related administrative support experience preferred
Working knowledge or interest in business operations or business development for sports or event-based entertainment
Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete a high-volume of projects simultaneously with efficiency
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Superior proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
