Job Title: Associate Comedy Manager
Location: New York, NY
Company: Vector Management / Live Nation
Timing: Immediate, in-person 4 days per week, 1 day remote
Salary: 60-70k per year plus benefits
Summary:
Artist management firm - subsidiary of Live Nation - seeking a dynamic candidate and comedy enthusiast to support Senior Day-to-Day Manager in the comedy department. Externally - Manager will interface with industry shareholders: agents, networks, studios, production companies, venues, labels, business managers, publishers, publicists, merchandisers and other third-party consultants to execute the artist's vision. Internally - Manager will oversee communication, workflow, and execution between artist and management firm's cross-functional marketing team, which provides in-house services such as content (creation, production and graphic design), social media support, direct to consumer campaigns, e-commerce, merchandising, business development (licensing, promotional & sponsorship), tour logistics, tour marketing and VIP ticketing.
Job Requirements:
--2-4 years of experience in artist representation
--Bachelors degree or equivalent
--Strong understanding of and interest in comedy touring, TV production, casting, and podcasts
--Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
--Ability to think creatively about both artistic and business goals
--Inclusive, flexible, focused, diplomatic, calm and collected attitude in a fast-paced environment
--Strong knowledge of latest business software (Monday, Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar)
--Basic knowledge of Video Editing software (iMovie, Final Cut, or similar)
--Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
--Ability to independently carry-out multiple tasks from start-to-finish with the aptitude to anticipate and prioritize
--Proven time-management skills that meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
--Good understanding of budgeting
--Ability to demonstrate discretion in handling confidential data and dealing with high-level artists and industry executives
--COVID-19 vaccination subject to legally valid exemptions
