As the Sales Director, Canada for MRC Data, you will be based in Toronto and will represent the full portfolio of music data and research products and services to music ecosystem players both large and small throughout Canada.
This individual contributor role will work closely with the MRC Data customer experience representative to productively engage current customers as well as proactively prospect new customers to understand their needs, then craft solutions, close business and deliver results. You will also evangelize new data and services while gathering industry feedback to help guide our continued innovation.
Your Qualifications
• Toronto based motivated self starter with very high 'figure it out' quotient
• 5 to 10 years of demonstrated success as a quota-carrying strategic account or territory sales manager
• Success in consultative/solution selling roles
• Experience as member of a remote sales team
• Strong, refined prospecting & communication (written and verbal) skills
• Strategic customer engagement experience - demonstrated solution selling, discovery, ROI articulation, negotiation skills
• Strong forecasting and consistent, disciplined reporting and CRM utilization
• BA Degree
• Enthusiasm for music a must; music business ecosystem experience a plus
