Job Description:
USA Baseball is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer. This position reports to the Director of Creative Services and the Director of Media Relations. This position assists with the execution of USA Baseball's media plan and is responsible for upholding the brand of our nation's pastime through the creation of digital marketing, digital and print publications, logo creation, signage, and social media visuals for USA Baseball's events and national team programs.
This position will serve as a primary creative lead for all USA Baseball Shop marketing, specifically, in regards to the creation of retail marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, print advertisements, and any other necessary projects that are aligned with the overall strategy and goals of the company.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who desires to constantly learn and grow professionally, who also has impeccable attention to detail. This candidate should be able to work quickly under pressure when called upon, while also balancing the need to be meticulous and require extra attention to detail. He or she seeks out new techniques to deliver fresh and innovative projects that impact people and brands in a positive way. Candidates should be an excellent communicator, open to constructive criticism, while operating on strategic and creative tasks and meeting deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Content creation for USA Baseball Shop as dictated in its yearly media plan
• Content creation for USA Baseball as dictated in its yearly media plan
• On-site creative services operations at key events at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina, domestically and internationally
• Shooting and editing photos, with the assistance of others, for USA Baseball's photo sales platform, USABaseballPhotos.com during USA Baseball events
• Creation of graphics and digital media projects for all programs and departments within the organization, including email marketing campaigns for its online retail properties
• Ongoing photo editing needs
• Assistance with video production and animation needs as needed
Desired Skills
& Experience:
• Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
• Must have an excellent attitude and work well in a team setting
• Flexible and adaptable work schedule for changing organizational needs
• Willingness to travel to events throughout the U.S. and international competitions
• Support the USA Baseball national team and national team development programs with the implementation of their strategic plans for identification
• Mentor seasonal coordinators on working in sports and for a non-profit organization
• Vision to see new revenue opportunities through both current and new events
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Passionate about baseball with an understanding of the amateur baseball landscape
• Ability to work in both a Mac and PC environment
• Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D or similar animation programs
• Proficiency in product and sports photography
Required Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, Graphic Design, or similar is required.
Salary:
• Salary commensurate on experience
